Washington DC Update - March 15, 2007

Dearest Friends,

Blessings and greetings to you once again from Liberty Lake, WA! I arrived back safely from my 12 day journey to the east coast. It was one of the most remarkable trips I've ever taken in all my prophetic travels. It seemed we moved with an uncanny sense of precision yet without being time conscious. We just seemed to flow by the Spirit with an ease and confidence getting us to the right place at the right time and with the right people. I'd like to recap the trip for you as my earlier email only focused on our strategic 2-22 day in Washington, DC.

First of all, I'd like to acknowledge and thank two very gracious and delightful ladies who hosted me, Gerri Gable and Judy Wynne, both residing in Calvert Country of the southern Maryland peninsula between the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. Gerri and Judy made the trip memorable with their special touches of kindness and generosity. Judy was my hostess and is an excellent cook and makes really good coffee too. I love it when I stay with good coffee "makers". We had more fun than should be legal. Both of them are on the board of Wade Taylor Ministries. I was truly honored by Wade's participation in our 2-22 prayer day at the Washington Monument. If you did not get my account of that amazing day, be sure and email me for it. It is too long to repeat here, but don't miss it. Also be sure and go to Wade's website: www.wadetaylor.org.

I didn't get a chance to tell you of another extraordinary occurrence that made the trip outstanding. The evening before I was to fly out, John and Ruth Filler, who co-lead Gateway Christian Fellowship in Coeur D Alene, along with Mike and Kari Browning, decided to let me take their beautiful gemstone with me. It is the color of amethyst and was given to them by Terry and Geri Copper. It is #5 and was dropped by an angel in the front yard of the Coppers' house. Terry saw the angel drop 5 gemstones on the ground last June. If you don't know about this amazing sign and wonder that has been happening, go to the church website: www.thegatewayintl.org.

When John put it in my hand, I was filled with such a sense of awe and wonderment. Not just concerning the stone, but because they trusted me with this precious treasure, and I realized what a blessing it would be to so many who had just heard about it and would never be able to come to CdA. So that very beautiful gemstone from heaven was in my coat pocket as I circled the Washington monument on 2-22. I felt the weight and responsibility of it and thankfully, it didn't set off any alarms at airport security.

On Friday, Feb 23, following our powerful day at the monument, Judy, Gerri, and I drove to Ashland, VA to spend the last weekend of winter camp meeting. It was a delight to show the gemstone to Dr Jane Lowder, who is the camp director and Ruth Heflin's desired successor. While there I was able to share in two of the meetings concerning the gemstones and show it to many of the people. While Ruth was alive, she prophesied about gemstones coming. I have been in meetings in the past when small gems would drop out of the heavens as we worshiped in the Glory of His Presence.

However, like many, I was totally unprepared for the size of the 50 karat gemstones that came to Coeur d Alene. Ruth Heflin was known for her awe and ready acceptance of the gold dust when it first manifested in 1998 and 1999 and eventually she "sparkled" as she worshipped and preached. Even tho' it was controversial, she stood firm that it was a sign and wonder of the coming Glory. She often spoke of gemstones.

Lately, there have been occasions when I've sensed her pleasure and presence from that great cloud of witnesses peering into the things we are seeing and that they longed and hoped for. We are indeed a privileged and chosen generation. Ruth also prophesied that after manifestations of gemstones, we would begin to see the creative miracles of body parts and limbs being restored to people. We are truly yearning for such a day and hour. Because of their great love and admiration for Ruth Heflin, the leadership at Gateway allowed me to represent them and share the wonders of the gemstones at the campground. What a joy!!!

While at the camp, Jane Lowder gave me a prophetic word that she saw me running through a wide open door. She also said it was time that waters of different streams flowed into one river. Hmmm. She said the door had not been opened before, but now it was. As I sat in my seat pondering the word, I felt the Lord impress me He was going to open Washington, DC up to me in a surprising way. Jane had no way of knowing I'd based my trip on Isaiah 22:22 and Rev 3:7 which both speak of keys and opening doors and shutting doors. Since I didn't go out there with thoughts of return trips, I hadn't anticipated an effectual larger door.

On Monday, February 26, Judy, Gerri, and myself drove to Charlottesville, VA to spend the afternoon with my amazing friend, Diane B. She is a counselor with the school system and moved there last summer. Diane has a great love for our country and the history of our nation. She was drawn there partly due to her interest in the history of Lewis and Clark, who reported in to President Thomas Jefferson to receive their rewards for their epic journey and expedition. We were able to tour the beautiful home of Monticello and see the exquisite early American furnishings and observe their way of life.

As we stood on the hillside estate overlooking the beautiful valley as Thomas Jefferson, the man who penned the Declaration of Independence, must have done before us, we read from the Scriptures and declared the return of our nation back to the Godly principles desired by our founding fathers.

Tuesday was a welcomed day of rest and reflection. I took a long nap. So much fun and excitement can wear you out.

On Wednesday, we drove to Berlin, MD near Ocean City, to spend the afternoon and evening with a marvelous group of spiritually hungry people who gathered at "Redemption Depot", a beautifully decorated Glory barn, belonging to Randy and Barbara Walter. This talented couple have built their home and depot out of throw away lumber and furnishings. Barbara has an amazing gift of painting and their property is full of treasures and nooks and crannies to just sit and marvel at what they have done.

Randy is the managing editor of a regional Christian newspaper called "The Manna". He had just written an article concerning "Noblesse Oblige". It is the French term meaning nobility obligates and is an expression for the people of high social position to behave honorably and morally, to assume civic responsibility, even at personal sacrifice. WOW!! Could we use some of that in this country or what!!!

He commented that George Washington did not want to be president. After the revolution, he simply wanted to return to Mt Vernon and live a normal life. However, it was with his sense of duty and 'noblesse oblige' that he consented to become our first president. How refreshing. I wonder how his political campaign would have looked.

Randy also wrote an excellent article about the new George Washington dollar coin that just so happened to come out in February. The day before I flew out of Spokane, I attended a minister's luncheon in north Spokane. I had been asked to share briefly about my coming trip. Someone "just so happened" to put a new dollar coin in the offering. When they counted the offering, my friend, Chip, said: " I just knew I was supposed to give it to you to take with you." And so I did. I hadn't even been aware it was coming out. where was I??

I remember gazing at that shiny new coin in my hand with the wonderment of the Lord's marvelous ways of confirming and affirming our steps. I had it with me at all times. Another treasure. One of the things that Randy said is that "In God We Trust" in on the rim of the coin and put there to remind us we are hedged in and bordered by our God. He may not be welcomed in some political circles, but HE IS still with us and He still loves America.

On Thursday, I had the joy of being reunited with a delightful group of ladies I first met in March 2000 in Milford, DL. We had an awesome day together sharing about the Lord. I was blessed to show them the gemstone, let them hold it, and get some pictures. One of my first water places was at the Atlantic Ocean at Lewes, DL. It was the first city in the first state, Delaware.

I went there three years in a row and had not been back since 2002. My special thanks to Teresa M who hosted the meeting and has been a faithful friend and supporter. She is an excellent prophetic writer and you can access her website at: www.suppingwithgod.com . I first went to Delaware in 2000 because I met a sweet lady named Janice B who when hearing I had not yet been to Delaware, handed me a map of her state when I was leaving the camp at Ashland.

You know someone is giving you a serious invitation when they give you your own map. I've traveled for many years and it's my only recollection of that ever happening.

On Friday, we drove back to Judy's home after staying 3 days at the beautiful condo home belonging to Gerri and her husband. We stopped to get some pictures of the powerful rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean shore at Ocean City, MD before heading inland.

Saturday morning, we left early to attend the monthly meeting held by Wade Taylor in the DC area. He speaks at a church in Oakton, VA, right off the DC beltway. It seemed odd at times to be in DC, VA, and MD in minutes, traffic permitting, of course. Many come from the surrounding area and also Pennsylvania.

Wade had made time for me to share about the gemstones and I offered to let the people see it after the service. He led us in a beautiful time of communion and his message was excellent. At the end, people began to make their way toward me to see the gemstone. I had not planned on praying for anyone, but as I watched their faces light up with the wonder of it, I couldn't help but offer a prayer of blessing to them. Suddenly the spirit of prophecy began to flow and as I cupped my hand over theirs holding the gemstone, they began to go limp and fall under the spirit.

I quickly learned to retrieve the gemstone before praying for them. The leadership gave me liberty to minister to the people and I found myself praying for one after another, after another. Many of them were deeply moved to tears at the wonder of a heavenly manifestation and it brought great hope and stirred up dreams and expectations that it can happen there as well.
One of the men who came up for prayer asked me if I'd be willing to come to a congressional office. Of course, I said I would. He handed me his card, which I didn't even have time to look at. Later in the day, I showed it to Judy, wondering if she knew the man. It turns out he is the administrative assistant for Todd Tiahart of Kansas.

I don't know Rep Tiahart, but I have known his parents, Wilber and Marcine, in Meckling, SD for many years. He had moved to Kansas and been elected to office from there. I had heard them talk about their son in Congress, but would never have thought I'd be invited to his offices. The man I met said there were many Christians on staff, and I hope to go there on another trip. I also received invitations to Gettysburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA and Long Island, NY. The Long Island invitation came from a lovely new friend, Irene, I met at Wade's meeting. She has invited me to speak at a ladies conference she will be hosting in August. We have enjoyed some delightful conversation and I adore her accent.

Sunday afternoon was a special day with Judy, Gerri, and Joan as we drove to the Chesapeake Bay at North Beach, MD. There we shivered in the cold and prayed at the waters. I had brought a small bottle of the gathered waters with me and poured it all out there at that beautiful family resort area. Judy said later when she saw I was going to give it all, that the Spirit of the Lord rose up through her powerfully. Many wonderful prophetic words have been spoken over the east coast. Gerri was given an awesome vision of waves of revival filling the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We simply agree with the prophetic words and desires of the Lord's heart for these areas. So many precious saints are standing for revival. Let's stand with them.

We had barely got back to the house, when we got a call from my friend, Bert Crevier, formerly of Elkton, SD. He is the one who gave me the dirt from 4 places involving George Washington on 2-22-02 that we used in prayer and intercession at George, WA and Vantage, WA on 2-22-05. I even had a little bit left to take to the Washington monument with me on 2-22-07. Bert had been on call as he had been asked to help with the impending funeral arrangements of then dying Papa Jim Shaw, the husband of Sis Gwen Shaw of Endtime Handmaidens.

Bert and I had talked earlier in the week, hoping to get together to visit, but he was working and anticipating an any minute call to fly to Arkansas. When we talked on Sunday afternoon, he said Papa Jim was still hanging on and it would work well to meet him in north Baltimore that evening. So we hurried out the door for the hour drive. I had really wanted Judy and Gerri to meet Bert and the Lord gave us kairos moments. We had such a good time sharing the Lord and hearing of Bert's visitations to heaven, that we talked late and shut the restaurant down. When we left that night, we all knew the Lord had granted us a precious divine appointment.

As we chatted on the way home to Judy's house, I commented I felt the Lord had kept Papa Jim alive so we'd have that opportune time with Bert, and I wouldn't be surprised if he passed on soon. Sure enough, a call came from Bert the next morning that Papa Jim had passed away around 6:00 am that very morning. I flew out that evening, March 5. It's all about timing.
It is difficult to describe a trip of the magnitude and importance that this one seemed to have. I know I came back with that full satisfied feeling like you'd eaten a really good meal. Both Judy and Gerri commented on the uniqueness of our time flowing as we seemed to go comfortably from one thing to the next. I think it was a new adventure for them as well.

My sincere thanks to those of you who sowed into this trip. We are in this together. Even tho' I may be the one going, you are doing the sending, supporting, and praying. And I am very grateful for those on the other end like Judy and Gerri who invite, host, drive, and care for personal needs. They pampered me and I loved it. That doesn't happen often.

Your ongoing financial and prayer support is cherished, needed, and appreciated. Remember I can take Visa and Mastercard or help set up a donation schedule if you'd like. All gifts are tax deductible. I'm once again offering Akiane's books, autographed for a $100 donation. They are beautiful and an excellent gift or tool for witnessing to the reality of heaven. They had been out of print, recently reprinted, and now available again.

Let us continue to stand together for this nation in prayer. I'm grieved by those with shrill cries for judgement on America. Recently when I was visiting with a friend about this sometimes arrogant attitude, I heard myself say: "We don't need to burn the house down, just because it needs cleaning." I once heard this quote: "Don't preach judgement unless you can do it with tears in your eyes. I've never forgotten it. Selah.

In a few days I'll be following up this newsletter with my news about finding a piano. I'm still in the negotiating and praying stage, but I think I've fallen in love and found my instrument. More later.

My love and thanks to the finest people I know. YOU!!

Carla
