Dearest Friends,

Blessings to all of you across America!! I want to give you a road update on my travels and let you know I am doing fine, and the trip is going amazingly well. Once again, I have found the Lord faithful to keep me as I go and give me a supernatural strength and energy that defies logic. I left Spokane three weeks ago today on Sept 16, and have come nearly 4,000 miles, plus ministering several times and many changes of beds and locations. And yes, it does stretch me to the max, but I’m learning to lean into and on His strength.

As I write to you tonight, I am in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I left the historic Gettysburg area this morning after spending nearly a week in the area ministering and also going to the Harrisburg area. I’ve been with some longtime friends and also meeting many new people. A fresh wind of the Spirit is blowing in Pennsylvania and I have so enjoyed the incredible beauty of the hillsides and farmlands. Several years ago, I learned that my maternal grandfather had come from the north central PA area, so I have some natural ties to the state and many blessed friendships since first coming in 2000.

I am staying tonight in the area of the original Moravian settlement in 1741. I had first come in 2002 to pray at the waters of Monocracy Creek at the first established well, and decided to spend the night here before I leave tomorrow on my upward journey to Maine. Bethlehem is home to Bethlehem Steel and I passed nearly a mile of old steel buildings today in the downtown area along the Lehigh River. It is also known as the Christmas City, (wonder why)… The Moravian Star, which is used to top Christmas trees has the long pointed end. It is also part of the logo for Morning Star Ministries. This is a special stop for me as I will be leaving for Moravian Falls, NC in about 2 weeks and they are closely connected.

On Thursday, I will be meeting and staying with Pastors Richard and Linda Brink of Eastgate Apostolic Center in Oakland, ME. On Friday, I will be driving to Eastport, my far northeast destination. There has been much excitement and anticipation for this coming weekend, and I want to let you in on the journey and ask you to cover me in prayer as we seek the Heart of the Lord for America. I am hearing confirming reports of Glory portals opening into the nation. Surely it can’t happen at a better time. I’m beginning to see more realistically the urgency of getting to the 4th Corner before the elections. May the Lord have mercy on us!

Several amazing things have happened since I stepped out by faith to drive across the great expanse of America. I want to share one that is especially pertinent to encourage you that the Lord is directing this prayer journey and that He has a purpose on His Heart and Mind.

First of all, it’s hard to believe that a month ago on Sept 7, I was still in Seattle. I didn’t arrive back in Spokane until 9-11, when I attended the International Healing Rooms Conference. On Monday, Sept, 8, my special friend, Quaint and I went to the shoreline of the Puget Sound waters in the city of Shoreline, WA. We had a special day of prayer with several close friends and the day had gone by quickly when we slipped to the shores as the sun was setting. As we came to the shore, I looked into the beautiful sunset and was instantly reminded of three prophetic words given to me in December, 1999 by three different people in three different locations all having to do with a sun setting in the west. It was catalytic in my decision to drive with the Atlantic waters to the Pacific Ocean the summer of 2000. There Josh and I witnessed our first sunset off the Oregon coastline and it was a profound and holy moment. At the time, I thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime drive, never dreaming it would propel me into an eight year journey of several round trips across America.

As my friend and I stood on the shores, I was reminded of the confirming word of the trip that came from the lady who called me from Australia. She saw me standing on sand, stepping into water, and scanning the horizon. When I shared with her my intentions to drive to Maine, we realized how powerful that vision was. While standing at the Puget Sound, facing the west at sunset, I suddenly felt I should take some sand with me from the shore. I looked behind me at the dry sand, when suddenly I felt I was to take it from beneath my very feet and scooped up the wet sand in a bag. I plan to dump it out and stand on it when I get to Eastport, Maine.

On my return trip from Seattle on Sept 11, I turned 144,000 miles on my van. It was a wonderful moment of feeling the Lord has directed your miles and minutes and that is a great number!!!!!

After adding some more miles attending the Healing Room Conference in Spokane and attending church that Sunday, I registered some more miles before recording my mileage on Tues, Sept 16, the day I left for this trip. It was an intense time of preparation for several weeks on the east coast, open ended at this time. I drove across the beautiful neck of Idaho and entered Montana on I-90. You really must see the beauty of our great nation and the amazing northwest ruggedness of Montana.

At one point, I looked down and was surprised to see I had just registered 144,404 miles. I’d been so busy preparing I hadn’t even considered that I would come to 144,444 miles on my trip to the 4th corner of America. I’ve been telling you all about 4’s and doors for several weeks, including the sheet let down for Peter in Acts 10:10-11 which specifically mentions four corners. Remember, my target dates are Oct (10) 10-11, an amazing parallel.

At that point I began to watch my mileage closer and noting it, so I didn’t miss the big event. As I neared Exit 211 in Montana, I was at 144,443, so I pulled off the exit to enable me to stop and take a picture. However, somehow I had slightly miscalculated as it didn’t come to 144,444. So instead of going down some road, I felt the need to pull back on I-90. Just after passing mile marker 212, the odometer registered 144,444 miles and I pulled off the interstate, put on my blinkers, and snapped some pictures. There was a sudden overwhelming sense of the Lord’s Presence to so time my trip thus so.

After stopping a few minutes, taking several shots of my dash, I pulled back on I-90 with a profound sense of destiny knowing this trip is carrying far more importance than even I knew. It was then I saw the sudden profound significance of passing marker 212.

About two years ago, I began seeing the number 212 very frequently. That fall, I moved to 21200 E Country Vista Dr in Liberty Lake. Still I saw the number. One day as I asked the Lord what it meant, He reminded me that the boiling point of water is 212 degrees. With that I coined the phase that 212 represents the ‘flash point of change‘. It is when the visible becomes invisible as water boils out of the pan and turns to steam. About that time, Gateway in CdA scheduled a conference beginning specifically on 2-12-2006. It was meant to mark the anniversary of the great Latter Rain movement that began on 2-12-1948 in Canada. That movement restored the five-fold ministry gifts and spawned the great healing revivals of the 1950’s.

Also during this time, someone sent me an email with a website link, which I rarely ever, ever click on. This one was called www.simpletruths.com. As I did, the opening page featured a huge 212 number with several interesting comments. I learned it was an entire motivational series called 212, complete with books, DVD’s, posters, key rings and cups. Appropriately, it had to do with going the extra degree to gain accomplishments. The wording went like this: At 211 degrees, nothing happens. But, if you go the extra degree to 212, water boils, steam is produced, and steam powers locomotives. It was quite impressive and I ordered the book with great delight and told the leadership at Gateway in CdA about it for the conference on 2-12-06.

Now you can see the parallel that left me quite impressed with the Lord and how He orders our steps and stops. At Exit 211 in Montana, nothing happened. I had to get back on I-90 and pass mile marker 212 before I turned 144,444 miles. Since my entire focus right now is on water, you can see that the boiling point of water, the vanishing point is what is being profoundly emphasized. Selah.

I have many other stories just in the last three weeks of travel that I could tell you about, but they will have to wait. I want to leave you with a sense of awe and wonder that our Heavenly Father is orchestrating and designing a prophetic message with the waters of America that will be poured into the 4th corner at Eastport, Maine. With the Lord’s help, I will pour out your waters and prayers on Oct 10-11. I plan to be there that evening and if possible spend the night in my van praying. I want to be on the eastern shore at sunrise, just as amazingly as I was on the western shore at sunset. “From the rising of the Sun, until it’s going down, the Lord’s Name is to be praised!” … a quote from Psalms. I believe a NEW DAY is dawning on America. Surely we can all see we have reached the boiling point!!! Let us welcome the Rising of the Son of God upon the hearts and lives of men and women and children as we enter confidently into Kingdom purpose and destiny. Beloved, we have spent our lives being prepared for the days before us. Surely we have come to live in the Kingdom for such a time as this. Come to think of it, it is so appropriate that my first piano CD, is titled “Morning Glory”. The Glory of the New Day!!! Good Morning - Glory!!!

Change is happening. September was called the month of suddenlies and suddenly, Sarah Palin was nominated for vice president and suddenly the economies of America and the world are being shaken. Who could have imagined the events of September??

If you receive this email newsletter in time, please join me in prayer for America on Oct 10-11 as I stand and scan the horizon off the east coast of northern Maine. Pray for my protection as I travel north the next three days and also that I will be bold and declare and decree the words of the Lord for this nation. My greatest concern is that I not come so far with so great a sacrifice and miss the mark of speaking and declaring HIS Heart and Word.

Thank you for your faithful friendship, prayers, and financial support. If you find it in your heart’s desire to send support, it will be gratefully acknowledged and utilized. It has been a huge expense and undertaking, but the Lord is faithful. Should you decide to be a part of it, call or let me know. Let your gift be a joy to you to give and my joy to receive.

I will be following with some reports as soon as I am able. Be mindful that I can’t always check emails, but I do try to respond to each and every one and keep up with voice mail. So be patient with me if some time lapses.

Next week, I will be spending some time in Massachusetts and driving to Long Island, NY. That is another good reason to pray for me. The following week I will be in Delaware and working my way to North Carolina to see my son, Josh, at Ft Bragg and also go to Moravian Falls. I’ll try to keep you posted.

May the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ fill each of you with confident hope and expectation as we become His lights shining in a darkened world.

My love to all of you,
Carla
