Dearest Friends,


Blessings and Greetings to you once again from beautiful Liberty Lake, Washington. It has been a great joy to me to be able to stay home for several weeks resting up from over six months of intense travel across America in 2008. I didn't know how tired I was until I had a chance to rest. The snow and cloudy, dreary weather have made for a cozy time of snuggling into the warm, comfort, and security of my own home and allowed a cocooning time that I trust will allow me to come forth with new butterfly wings. As it is, I've felt about as sluggish as the caterpillar and about as attractive. I have a feeling alot of you are feeling the same way. Yesterday, I felt the need to look up the word metamorphosis and google it on the computer. It was amazing to see all the beautiful pictures of butterflies and read about the process. So, if you are feeling 'processed', be encouraged! I believe what the Lord is doing in this hour is not near as much about us being more anointed as it is about personal transformation. So, if you feel you've lost your identity, you're right. You are a new creature in Christ and He is about to prove it to us all. So many of us feel like we have had to 'fly by the seat of our pants', so to speak, and He about to show us how to use our wings!!


For many of us and nearly everyone I know, it seems like we've entered a dark tunnel or birth canal that has squeezed us with nearly unbearable pressure. Personally, I have never known such darkness, but I know it is not from the enemy. It's the darkness of the Lord that He invites us to enter as He did Moses upon Mt Sinai many years ago. The people pulled away and stood back, and only one man entered into the dense cloud of darkness. It was there He encountered the Lord for 40 days and was given the Ten Commandments. We all talk about desiring mountain top experiences, but did we ever think the Lord would invite us into thick deep darkness? Recently, I was visiting with friends on the phone and told them I feel like I've been put in a dark room and I'm trying to be happy in there. Interestingly enough, I once worked in a darkroom developing pictures for a small town newspaper in South Dakota and I had to "feel" how to take the film out of the camera and putting it into the container with solution to develope the film. Then when I looked at the 'negatives', black was really white and white was black before the pictures were developed. Images appeared to be the opposite of what they really were. I believe we are being invited into "the dark room" that He might expose our negatives and turn them into positive images. The LIGHT always ruined the undeveloped negatives.


There are treasures in the darkness as the Lord hides Himself there for us to seek Him. When everything in us wants to run and try to fill the void or escape the uncomfortable feelings of being 'in the dark', we must stand firm and trust Him. We are being brought to a place of utter dependence and it really is a good thing. Beloved, when a 'dark cloud' is upon us or upon our family and nation, we can rest assured it's because His Overshadowing Presence is putting us in the shade of His Care. Over and over, I kept saying, " I don't want to fear the darkness. I don't want to fear this place in God". We will gather treasures in this place if we don't let the carnal mind of fear, worry and anxiety overtake us and cause us to run and pull away from the Lord.


Another thought that keeps coming to me is that we desire to know the depths of His love. Where did we think that would happen? We are familiar with the lengths, breadths, and love the dizzy heights, but the depths are something else. So if you feel like you're in a free fall with nothing to stand on, I'm thinking we may really be "falling in love" with Him after all. Deep is calling onto Deep and it's coming from deep within us calling unto the Deep of God. I recently watched a video about the ocean depths and what was so amazing at the place of deepest darkness beyond the sun's rays, was the incredible beauty of the plant and fish life that no one sees. Some of this was viewed from the Planet Earth BBC video series that has the most stunning photography you will ever see.

He made darkness His secret Place. (Psalms 28:11)

Darkness and the light are both alike to Him. (Psalms 139:12)

Clouds of darkness are about Him, (Psalms 97:2)

I form the light and create the darkness. (Isaiah 45:7)

I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. (Isaiah 45:3)
Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was. (Exod 20:21)

The mountain burned with fire, with clouds, and thick darkness ( Deut 4:11)

He came down and darkness was under His feet (II Sam 22:10)

The day of the Lord is darkness and not light. (Amos 5:18)


Is there a demonic darkness? Yes. But, we will learn not to even fear it and our times in the dark room will give us eyes to see and discernment about what is really going on. Many of us are confused and trying to rebuke the devil, when the Lord is dealing with His people in an un-precedented way. I know this much, rebuking the Lord is not a good thing even if it's done ignorantly, and certainly, judging others going thru' hard and dark times isn't too smart either. One of the major things I see the Lord dealing with is our fear of deception, which will actually keep us out of understanding deeper truths and hold us hostage in our misperceptions (missed perceptions) which are deceptions as well. In other words, the thing we fear (deception) actually comes on us because we reject truth thinking it is error and we can get more deeply cemented into our mental position and dangerously dogmatic. That in turn causes us to be suspicious of others and reject them and deeper revelations of truth in the name of our discernment. What a pit it can become for the fearful and self reliant. We will need so much grace and patience with each other in the days to come as the Lord reveals more of Himself and His ways to us. Even our language is changing as our new vocabulary in the spirit is being 'developed'. If we're not careful, we can misjudge what someone is saying if we dwell on the words alone and don't know the heart.


May the Lord grant each of you His peace and comfort in these strange times... the best of times and the worst of times. It would really be nice to hear from you. I have no plans to travel or minister until the end of March. As I was returning home in December, I felt the Lord say "Ninety days in the Secret Place". After so much travel and social and spiritual interaction, it hasn't been easy. I love the rest, but the mental torment of wondering how to pay the bills or the accusing "You should be doing something" can steal joy and rest quickly. I'm really not in a position to "do something" too much anyway, feeling physically and emotionally depleted after all the travel. I'm just not up to it. So, since I can't come to your house this time, would you come to mine? Visit me with your phone calls, letters, love, prayers and support. I really do want to hear from you.


Thank you for your love, kindness, and friendship, Financial support is at an all time low due to many who are also struggling. I understand it, my friends, and I would not ask you to take from your needs or your family's. Only do what is in your heart to do and we will agree for a multiplication of funds for all of us. Let us break the bread together and we will both eat well.

For those of you who want to attend conferences and haven't been able to because of money or distance, I want to let you know of the most wonderful video online library that is being made available by Jim Otts of Spokane. He is the director of Royal Crown Foundation and has videoed many wonderful conferences all over America. He has compiled them and put them into a huge video library and you can subscribe for only $9.95 per month. That means you can watch unlimited videos of all the speakers and conferences you missed at a fraction of the cost. What an amazing blessing this is to the body of Christ. Thanks Jim!!


Jim is an outstanding Christian brother who has labored long and hard to make CD's and DVD's available to people attending the conferences who want to take something home. About three weeks ago, I sent out my most recent book as an attachment called Days of Glory. It is my gift to you and to honor the Lord's great faithfulness to me as I encountered the Glory realms 10 years ago. I haven't heard from too many of you, so I'm assuming you've not had time to read it yet. I am hoping to get some copies printed in the near future and make them available for sale. I believe the book will be a great blessing to you and I'm going to include it as an attachment again as I think some people either missed getting it or it couldn't be opened. I will be commenting in the days ahead on what I feel the Lord is showing me about the 'Power of Ten', which is why I wrote the book. If you have trouble reading online or don't have the time to sit at a computer, print it off and enjoy the wonderful stories that I have shared. Then, give it to someone else who needs encouragement or email them the attachment. Let's proclaim His goodness and Glory to everyone.


Now, for a praise report!!!


Since returning from the east coast in December, I have been looking at and pricing new computers and wanted a new desktop altho' I've never had a desktop. I will continue to use the laptop that was given to me, but have had trouble with limited memory and my cd drive does not work to read or write. I wanted a larger screen that would be easier on my eyes, plus the memory capability for all the writing I want to do and to store several thousand pictures and data. Two weeks ago, I happened to go to the Staples store as a sales circular had just come out with a wonderful HP desk top with 6 GB system memory and 500 GB hard drive, plus a 22" monitor all for $659. It has the Windows Vista Home Premium edition which did cause some complications in transferring some of my old programs. But, I'm all ready with a new computer and so this is my first newsletter on my 22" inch monitor which is like a small TV screen. I also just hooked up to internet in my apartment and will be able to check emails more quickly and get online to see all the great google and youtube videos and data downloads really fast. I'm wonderfully spoiled and happy about it. I did not have the funds to pay cash, but didn't want to pass up the deal as I so needed it for what is coming forth in writing. So, if you'd like to give and apply a donation towards the new ministry computer, I'll be estatically happy. A special thanks to Jim Otts and his friend, Len, who came and helped this somewhat challenged computer non-nerd. They transferred my word files and pictures, altho some programs were not up to par and compatible with Vista Windows. I suppose there is a prophetic picture in this that our programs are out of date and we need to upgrade and get with the new program.

Beloved, let us truly love one another and stay connected thru emails and phone calls. We are going to need each other as never before and the enemy would have us at war with each other, finding fault (and there's plenty of it) or hiding our pain, and withholding our love and support.
